Blog Post #8

In the essay “Failure Can Be an Important Part of Writing Development” by Collin Brooke and Allison Carr, the writers explain that making mistakes is part of the writing process. Writing bad first drafts that need a lot of revision and editing only makes you a better writer. They even use J.K. Rowling as an example of this, as she had once stated that before she wrote Harry Potter she had failed at writing.

I chose this GIF because the essay makes me realize that writing a crappy first draft can just be part of the process to get to a really good final draft.
